Rick is an experienced physiotherapist with an exceptional practice background. He has worked primarily in General and Sports Private Practice and also been involved with elite sporting teams such as the Victorian Rugby Union, Victorian Football League, national netball and baseball teams. He also has special interest in pain relief for muscular, joint, arthritic and rheumatic conditions.
 
Rick’s practice approach encompasses particularly hands on treatment such as soft tissue massage therapy, mobilisation, ultrasound, sports physiotherapy and the design of personal exercise and fitness programs. He has a friendly and caring nature with a focus on understanding each individual person’s needs, expectations and goals and is a popular practitioner in the centre.

James is an experienced physiotherapist treating many complex musculoskeletal and neurological conditions, along with gerontological issues such as balance and arthritis. 
 He graduated with a Master of Physiotherapy Practice from La Trobe University along with a Master and Bachelor degree of Physical Therapy in South Korea. Furthermore, he has diverse skills and certificates, such as Orthopaedic manual therapy, taping techniques, and Bobath concept (Neurodevelopmental Therapy).
James’ treatment approach embraces hands-on manual therapy in combination with diverse exercises including Clinical Pilates and specific rehabilitation programmes. He has a kind and considerate approach and is a very popular practitioner.

Mark graduated with a Bachelor of Health Science and Master of Physiotherapy Practice from La Trobe University. As an amateur boxer, he has enriched his knowledge about neuromuscular control and injury patterns, and what it is to be an injured athlete. Mark has experience in massage, taping and acute injury management, having worked closely with South Yarra Football and Netball Club as a sports trainer. His physiotherapy approach encompasses hands-on manual techniques such as massage and mobilization, along with specific corrective exercise prescription. He is particularly interested in enhancing the role of both prevention and rehabilitation in combat sports.

Anneline is a qualified remedial massage therapist, passionate about body function and awareness. She always loves keeping active and in her spare time you will most likely find her on an overnight hiking track or swimming at the beach.
 

Using a mix of relaxation, deep tissue, trigger point therapy, joint mobilisation, vibration, tapotement and stretching methods, Anneline will focus on you as a whole person.
 

Through her previous experience, she particularly enjoys treating neck and shoulder pain and work on postural awareness. She loves new challenges and continuous learning.

Tracy Williams

Tracy is a graduate of R.M.I.T University with a Bachelor of Applied Science in Chiropractic and a Master of Clinical Chiropractic. With over 9 years of clinical experience, she believes Chiropractic care optimises your health and wellbeing by improving the integrity of your nervous system. She specialises in both acute and wellness care, placing an emphasis on quality of care and believe treatment should be personalised to individual needs. Tracy keeps up to date with current protocols and modern techniques.

Tracy is experienced in both manual Diversified adjustments and gentle low-force techniques, including soft tissue work, mobilisation, Activator, drop table, blocks and cranial techniques. She also incorporates postural exercises, stretches, kinesio taping, strengthening therapy and ergonomics in the care plan. This gives her patients the best opportunity to achieve desired outcomes in the quickest time possible.

Yong-Zhen graduated from the University of Melbourne with bachelor of biomedicine and doctor of physiotherapy. He had clinical experience in acute and subacute hospitals, community rehabilitation, private clinic, and sports club.
 
Yong-Zhen is dedicated to providing physio treatment that helps patients achieve their personalised goals in everyday life and sports. He incorporates hands-on therapy with active treatment including therapeutic exercise and lifestyle modification. Coming from a strong academic background, he is also regularly updated with the most contemporary evidence in the field to ensure the best care for every patient.
 
He participates extensively in sports including badminton (at a competitive level), cycling, soccer, kayaking, and tennis. He has a very approachable personality and is a loyal supporter of Beijing Guoan FC, Chelsea FC, and the Boston Celtics.

Durka Jegatheesan

Durka completed her studies in Osteopathy at Victoria University in 2014 obtaining both Bachelors and Masters degrees. She was fortunate enough to have participated in a volunteer placement program in Mumbai, India for 5 weeks whereby she worked alongside orthopedic surgeons, physiotherapists and radiologists in a hospital setting.

Prior to Osteopathy, Durka studied Oral Health Therapy (Dental Hygiene and Dental Therapy) at The University of Melbourne. Her dental background has enhanced her understanding of head and neck anatomy and she has therefore developed a strong interest in treating headaches, neck and jaw pain.

Durka adopts a hands-on approach incorporating a combination of direct and indirect techniques into her treatment, and prescribes exercises tailored to each individual. She has further broadened her skills in Osteopathy having completed courses in dry needling and pregnancy amongst others.

Her goal is to help clients better manage their pain so that they can regain function and return to their daily activities and hobbies as soon as possible.

Adrian has been an integral part of our team for over a decade.  He is a past graduate of the 5-year double degree course conducted within the faculty of Biomedical and Health Science at RMIT University, Melbourne. He holds degrees in both Chiropractic Science and Clinical Science.
 
As well as undergoing his chiropractic qualifications, Adrian
also has a strong connection to massage therapy and a history of working within sports clubs and family medical practice. As a result, he is experienced in caring for muscular aches and pains in the back, neck, hips, legs and arms, as well as specialising in treating all types of spinal complaints, headaches, arthritic and other degenerative conditions.
 
Adrian applies a very hands-on approach in caring for his patients, which combines a range of soft and deep tissue massage, mobilisation, gentle manipulation, ultrasound, taping, exercise prescription and general postural, workstation and other self-help advice.

Dr Annelise Tchea

Annelise is an experienced osteopath with a double degree in Health science and Applied science (Osteopathy). She is also qualified in dry needling. 
 
During university, Annelise volunteered at an Orthopaedic hospital in India, where she observed surgeries and provided osteopathic treatment. 
She managed many sports injuries while working as a sports trainer for football and netball clubs. 
 
Annelise treats a wide variety of musculoskeletal complaints. She has a special interest in headaches, vertigo, neck, back, shoulder and arm pain. 
 
In addition to hands on treatment, Annelise educates patients about their condition and recommends exercises, as well as ergonomic and lifestyle changes for lasting results. 
 
Away from the clinic, Annelise can be found up in the air practising aerial silks and hoop.

Tharushi is a dedicated and passionate Physiotherapist with a strong commitment to improving healthcare outcomes. Studying towards a Master of Public Health in Global Health and Advocacy from Australian Catholic University, Tharushi has a deep understanding of the complex factors that shape healthcare systems.

She holds a BSc (Hons) in Physiotherapy from General Sir John Kotelawela Defence University, Sri Lanka, and a BSc and diploma in Psychology from the American College of Higher Education, Sri Lanka, in partnership with Lincoln University Malaysia. Additionally, Tharushi has pursued further education, including diplomas in Exercise and Sports Science, as well as a certificate in Psychology and Basic Counselling Skills.

With a diverse range of qualifications, including dry needling, kinesio taping, muscle energy techniques  and membership with the Australian Physiotherapy Association, Tharushi possesses a comprehensive skill set to deliver exceptional care. Tharushi is particularly motivated to contribute to sports and musculoskeletal Physiotherapy, adult care, and disability care, where she can tackle challenges, expand her knowledge, implement evidence-based practices, and foster a collaborative environment with fellow professionals to provide the best possible service to clients. She has a deep commitment to making a positive impact in the field of Physiotherapy.

Matthew graduated from the University of Melbourne with a Doctor of Physiotherapy degree. He understands that every client and their injury is different, and the pain experienced can be complicated.
 
Having the experience of working in a broad range of settings including private practices, community aged care and local football clubs (Marcellin Old College Football Club), he has developed extensive knowledge in ensuring accurate prescription of rehab plans for clients with musculoskeletal injuries, sports injuries and work-related injuries.

Matthew employs various treatment techniques to facilitate optimal recovery such as manual therapy, clinical Pilates, dry needling, taping, mobility re-training and at-home exercises. With an excellent understanding of pain and human physiology along with a warm and friendly approach, Matthew is able to provide exceptional personalised care to his clients.

As a member of the Australian Physiotherapy Association (APA), Matthew is committed to continue upskilling himself through attending regular professional courses. Outside of work, he enjoys a few games of squash and swimming, and of course watching some Netflix in the evening. He is also fluent in Cantonese and Mandarin!

Bing is an APA titled Sports and Exercise Physiotherapist, with extensive experience traveling with sports teams and managing sports injuries. Bing graduated from University of Melbourne with Doctor of Physiotherapy degree in 2017 and completed Master degree of Sports and Exercise Physiotherapy in La Trobe University in 2023.

Bing was appointed the team physiotherapist with Rugby Victoria in the Australian Rubgy Shield Tournament 2023 and Australian Indoor Hockey Championship tournament 2024. He enjoys helping patients to get back on track and also to stay active to prevent future injuries. Bing is highly experienced in treating knee, shoulder, ankle, low back and neck conditions. Outside work, Bing loves watching baseball, basketball, tennis, soccer and AFL.

Max is a passionate Osteopath who strives to improve the health and well-being of patients, allowing them to reach their personal goals.

Whilst working with the Beaumaris Sharks, Max has developed a strong skill set in acute sports injury management. Max has a strong interest in designing personalised rehabilitation and exercise programs.

He is able to offer highly trained and effective hands on treatment that differs from regular massage and physio.

MARLEE-SHAE HOLDEN

Marlee graduated in 2018 with an advanced diploma in remedial massage. She has always had a passion for sport, competing in Rhythmic Gymnastics at an elite level for 15 years. She has been a massage therapist with Melbourne football club at both AFL and VFL level. Wanting to give something back to her chosen sports she also enjoys coaching calisthenics and has done so for many years.
 
Marlee enjoys meeting new people and learning new skills. She is also currently studying her Advanced Diploma of Myotherapy along with a pilates instructor course which she is super excited about! 
 
Outside of work Marlee loves playing with her dogs, travelling and cooking.

Tim graduated from a Bachelor of Applied Science and Masters of Physiotherapy Practice from La Trobe University. He is also completing his Master’s of Acupuncture at RMIT university.

Tim has a keen interest in biomechanics, sports injuries, and pain management. His experience as a personal trainer has enhanced his ability to teach and prescribe enjoyable, and effective exercises. He also enjoys exercising and sports himself. He has deep insight into the demands of swimming, badminton, boxing, and bouldering/climbing. From his experience in hospital and private practice, he has enjoyed treating musculoskeletal injuries, sports injuries, neurological disorders (eg. BPPV), back and neck pain, and post-operative rehabilitation.

 
Tim has a versatile skillset to facilitate optimal recovery using soft tissue therapy, mobilisation, needling, taping, clinical Pilates, and neuromuscular control re-training. He employs a ‘minimalist’ approach to exercise, and enjoys giving function-orientated, convenient, and achievable exercises to be completed at home. With a caring and approachable personality, Tim is passionate about helping people around him feel stronger so that they can achieve their own goals.
 
 
As an Australian Physiotherapy Association Member (APAM), Tim is committed to continual professional development to enhance his skill and knowledge to assist his patients. On weekends, you can find him dragon boating, bouldering, hiking, or spending time with friends and family. He also enjoys routine morning yoga, cooking different cuisines, and jumping onto the badminton court for some laugher and fun.
